Rent a very affordable original Provençal "penthouse" for holidays !

Our holiday home is situated next to the ruin of a castle on the hill. Against this hill is situated this typical Provencal and picturesque village of Cadenet, France (4000 inhabitants). The centre with market and a variety of little shops (also an internetcafe) are within a five minutes walk. From the window the whole valley can be seen until the famous mountain that the impressionist painter Cezanne painted.  You don't need a car to enjoy the regional natural park the Luberon to go for a walk.  It is not in a holyday parc, but just between the friendly Provencal French from this village.

Within less than an hour reach from Cadenet lies the Mediterean sea, Marseille and Avignon. And half an hour from Aix-en-Provence.  The weather is subtropical. Very little rain, in the summer almost no rain. Temperature in the summer between 26 and 37 degrees, in the autumn and spring the temperatures vary between 15 and 25 degrees, with very often a clear blue sky.

Good communications without higt costs of portable telephone? Reading E-mails or finding informations about attractions? The ADSL internet access with wifi or cable is installed in our holydayhome for you! Phone with a normal phone, free of charge to fixed lines in Brittain, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and other countries (calls to mobiles are not free of charge).

Touristic:

  • Swimming in the river the Durance, that meanders against Cadenet, and some lakes, one in Cadenet and one at a 5 miles distance. Mediterean sea at Cassis and Marseille
  •  The touristical possibilities in cities like Marseille, Aix-en-Provence en Avignon.
  • Golfcourse (6 under roof, 30 outside) in Les Milles on 25 km.
  • The colourful rocks at Roussillion
  • The panoramic view in Bonnieux and Cadenet.
  • The beautiful and rich nature in the park the Luberon. Over 1000 different types of butterflies. And the little Provencal villages like Gordes, Bioux, Lacoste, Menerbes, Oppede-le-vieux, Lourmarin, Ansouis and so on.
  • Kayaking in mountain streams.
  • And lots and lots more.

  • Parking on parking place in same street. 

*) The house is suited for all ages, also little children. For some disabled people probably a less easy entrance. 
If you want to come with more people, we have probably another home (some cheaper) free in the same street.

- Rent in high season from Saturday to Saturday.
- Minimum 1 week (except a shorter time between occupied periods) 
- Payment 50% at booking and 50% 1 month before rent.

- guarantee 300 euro (for key, damage and cleaning)

- possibility for cleaning (60 euro) or cleaning yourselves. 
- bring your own towels and bed linen / sheets OR rent for 7 euro p.p a linenpackage (contains: a bedsheet, aneiderdowncover, 2 bathtowels, a t-towel,a t-cloth, a role wcpaper, a role kitchentissue, a dishcloth, a wash-up sponge)
